Clubhouse: At the heart of the course and private golf community is a 13,000 square-foot clubhouse overlooking Briars Creek and the Kiawah River. Nestled between the 9th and 18th greens the clubhouse stands, literally, as the centerpiece of our golfing experience. Inside, members and guests can enjoy fine dining with seating for approximately 75. Lounge and bar areas provide extra places to meet and mingle. The well-appointed locker rooms and expanded pro shot will cater to our golfers' every needs, while state-of-the-art exercise, spa and meeting facilities accommodate the mind and body. Wide porches overlook the Event Peninsula, with two deepwater docks and Briars Creek and the 19th hold, a 50-year golf hole for settling matches or having fun after a day on the course.
Hiking & Bike: Throughout the course and community, a series of nature trails provide exercise and relaxation for our members and guests. Take a quiet stroll along the course and across the pristine riverside vistas. Enjoy one of the scenic picnic areas that overlook the lake and waterways. And don't forget your binoculars, because there are prime spots for bird-watching and wildlife viewing around every turn.
Lakes & Waterways: The slow-moving waterways of Johns Island are home to thriving populations of birds, plants, fish and wildlife. In addition to countless natural ponds and waterways, our recreational lake and canal system provides some of the best ways for your family to experience the natural beauty of Briars Creek. Spend a peaceful afternoon at our South Carolina resort kayaking beneath the sprawling canopy of our ancient Grand Oaks. Or enjoy sunset fishing from your private dock, and haul in one of our trophy-class largemouth bass.
Wildlife: As South Carolina's first Certified Silver Audubon Signature Sanctuary, Briars Creek is home to the American Bald Eagles, Wood Storks, White Ibis and other rare native and migrating birds. From the planning stages of Briars Creek on Johns Island, our resort has collaborated with Audubon International to develop Briars Creek as an environmentally friendly, natural sanctuary.

- Briars Creek owners contribute $385.00 quarterly.
- Owners can make secure online payments by using our Homeowner Portal. CLICK HERE. You will be required to register for a login/password.
